Heidi 2nd lesson

My second lesson went pretty well. We reviewed what we did last week and worked on some things that she had problems with. We continued on in her book and she seems to be reading the music pretty well and she's figuring things out on her own with very little help from me. I gave her some new things to work on to help her technique. She is very excited to play and I can't wait to see how far she can get in the next few weeks.

Heidi 1st Lesson

I had my first lesson with my student Heidi yesterday and I loved it! We went over the basics of how to play the piano and started in on her first couple of songs. I think the hardest thing will be for her is to figure out what each line and space is in on the staff. I had her write it out thinking of FACE for the spaces on the treble cleft and GREAT BIG DREAMS FOR AMERICA for the lines on the bass clef. I am very excited to keep working with her and watch her progress.
